The Mixer view
The Mixer view provides control for the overall mix of all sixteen instrument slots, including volume, pan, and effects using knobs and faders.
- Send. Adjust this knob to control the amount of signal from each channel that goes to the ConvolutionA sampled reverb effect included with the ARIA Player. Like a sample library consists of actual recordings of a musical instrument, Convolution consists of actual recordings (known as impulse responses) of the reverberation of a physical space. and Ambience reverbAn algorithmic reverb effect included with the ARIA Player. Like a softsynth plug-in simulates the sound of a musical instrument, Ambience simulates the reverberation of a physical space. in the Effects view.
- Pan. Adjust this knob to control the stereo image for each channel. Click and drag clockwise to pan the channel right or counterclockwise to pan the channel left. Playback volume will be weighted to the left or right speaker accordingly.
- M (Mute) • S (Solo). Click the M button to indicate you want the instrument to be silent when you playback. Click the S button to mute all other instruments. In other words, you’ve just isolated a single instrument so that only it will play back, and all the other instruments are silent. (You could achieve the same effect by clicking the Mute button for all other instruments). You can solo one instrument or multiple instruments.
- Level. Drag the sliders up or down to adjust the volume for each instrument. The ARIA Player numerically displays the volume level below the sliders.
