Settings view

The Settings view provides you with options to customize your experience with the ARIA Player. Click the Settings button at the right side of the screen to open the Settings view. These options apply to overall control of the ARIA Player, rather than the individual instrument slots where instrument patchesA particular instrument sound, often containing multiple samples. The term is borrowed from physical synthesizers in which cables were used to connect sound modules. Also referred to as program. are loaded, as well as additional information about performance of the ARIA Engine.

From the Settings view, change the tuning or temperament using Scala (SCL) files, control handling of external SFZ libraries, monitor system performance, and allocate system RAM and resources to the instruments. Click elements in the image above, or use the table of contents below to learn more.

To view the ARIA version

  1. Click the Settings button. The Settings view appears.

  2. The installed version of the ARIA Player and the ARIA Engine are displayed in the lower left. The ARIA Engine version also lists the standalone architecture (Win/OSX, x86/x64).

For best operation, it is recommended to always have the most recent version of the ARIA Player and ARIA Engine installed. If an older version is displayed, follow these instructions to update the ARIA Player.
